Insight You helps you inspect possible patterns through exact excerpts from your journal. The map organizes Values, Beliefs, Emotions, and Behaviors so you can decide what fits your experience.
Four Reflection Lenses
Insight You organizes journal entries into Values, Beliefs, Emotions, and Behaviors. This is the app's own framework for self-reflection—not a clinical CBT model, mental-health assessment, or diagnostic tool. Context, people, situations, triggers, and body sensations stay in the evidence; they do not become a fifth permanent group.
Value
A chosen direction or something that genuinely matters to you—not every desire or goal (for example, Freedom, Authenticity, or Family).
Belief
An interpretation, rule, prediction, or self-story about yourself or the world (for example, “I must be perfect”).
Emotion
A felt emotional state—not a situation, topic, or person (for example, Anxiety, Joy, Confusion, or Peace).
Behavior
An observable action, avoidance, or habit—not an inferred personality trait (for example, Procrastinating, Avoiding, or Overworking).
Dated exact evidence
Every node and relationship must lead back to an exact excerpt and the source journal date. An excerpt proves provenance; it does not automatically prove that an interpretation is correct.
Relationships begin as proposals
A generated relationship starts as proposed. It becomes eligible for recurring-pattern discovery only after your confirmation or independent support from at least two different journal entries.
You retain interpretive control
You can choose Fits, Partly, or Doesn't fit, and confirm, reject, or correct derived graph meaning. Your saved journal and exact excerpts are never rewritten.
